I have been an active real estate broker for forty-four years with a passion for art in many forms for as long as I can remember. Following in Grandma Moses footsteps, in my 70s, I am a multi media artist, currently working in fabric art. I am inspired by color, texture and the challenge and possibility of incorporating thrifted, upcycled and found items into my art. I am also inspired by the creativity of the wonderful community of artists my daughter, Chelsea has introduced into my life.
Losing my son to cancer in 2018, I made memory hearts for his Celebration of Life and continue to make hearts as a way to heal my own heart. I am currently making textile art in the form of Boho Jellyfish pins, cuff bracelets and fabric amulets using upcycled fabric, yarn, bits and bobs and beads. |
